The extension of the stay under visa exemption was supposed to start on June 1, 2024. However, despite official confirmation, the policy has not yet started. Some news sites claimed it would begin on June 1, 2024,-READ HERE:BANGKOK POST, but our sources confirm it will start sometime in mid-June 2024 or early July 2024. We got this confirmation from the PM's Official communication on May 31st, 2024. 

A few fellow travelers have confirmed that they received a 30-day stamp on their passports.
All eyes are on next week, as there is a weekend and a national holiday in Thailand on June 3, 2024.

We advise you not to make plans to stay for 60 days yet. If your stay is within 30 days, you can travel. Please wait for further confirmation on when the 60-day stay period extensions for Indians will actually begin.
