Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) is getting ready to introduce a new Automatic Channel for passport screening, replacing the current system. Some manual passport control counters will also transition to automatic channels, aiming to enhance flexibility and speed in passport checking services. The initial phase of installation will occur at Zone 2 of the international departure passport control area on the west side of the 4th floor of the Passenger Terminal Building. This process will result in certain areas being closed from May 15 to June 4.
During this period, BKK apologizes for any inconvenience and advises passengers departing on international flights to arrive at least 3 hours prior to their scheduled departure time. For further details, passengers can contact the AOT Contact Center at 1722, which operates 24/7.
