Sri Lanka has recently extended its visa-waiver program, allowing citizens from China, India, Indonesia, Russia, Thailand, Malaysia, and Japan to visit without a visa until May 31st, 2024. This decision aims to simplify travel procedures and attract more tourists to the country's stunning destinations.
To apply for this visa waiver, eligible travelers can visit the official Sri Lanka eVisa website and opt for the 30-day single-entry eVisa option, free of charge. While the consular fees remain at $0.00, please note that service charges from the visa company may apply.
In addition to this update, we'll delve into whether Thailand will reciprocate with a visa-free policy for Indian nationals and anticipate further news regarding visa-waiver policies.
