Exciting news for travelers heading to Phuket! IndiGo and Air India are boosting flight options between Delhi and Phuket, offering greater flexibility for your Thailand getaway.
Starting June 1st, IndiGo is significantly increasing its Delhi-Phuket flights, doubling its weekly frequency from 7 to an impressive 14. This expansion caters to the rising demand for travel to Thailand, a sought-after destination for both leisure and business travelers.
Vinay Malhotra, Head of Global Sales at IndiGo, expressed enthusiasm, stating, “Thailand is a renowned travel destination in Southeast Asia, celebrated for its stunning beaches, vibrant shopping, and delectable cuisine. These added flights will accommodate the growing domestic interest in exploring Phuket, the largest island in Thailand.”
More than just increased flights, IndiGo emphasizes the convenience of travel with visa-free entry for Indian tourists and their commitment to delivering affordable, punctual, and stress-free travel experiences. Passengers can also seamlessly connect to other popular destinations like Bengaluru and Mumbai through IndiGo's extensive network.
Meanwhile, Air India is also stepping up its game. Recognizing Phuket's surging popularity, they're introducing a second daily flight (except Wednesdays) to the tropical paradise, supplementing their existing daily service. This move brings the total weekly flights to 14 starting June 1st.
The additional flight is tailored for connecting passengers arriving from Europe. With its convenient late morning departure from Delhi at 11:00 AM, travelers can smoothly transition to Phuket, ensuring a relaxed beginning to their beach vacation.
Air India's expansion underscores its commitment to meeting traveler demand. Since inaugurating service to Phuket in December 2023 with four weekly flights, they've steadily increased frequency, reaching daily service in January 2024. With the addition of the second daily flight, they've nearly doubled their Phuket operations.
